As you all know I ate it last week on my bike and unfortunately one of the only things majorly injured was, drum roll please...my right hand. So for the last week I've been attempting to draw with a half cast on, which doesn't really work if you can't tell by this piece posted above. I have a great idea I've been thinking about since my trip down to Capitol Reef. I can't tell you how frustrating it was to try and complete something to be graded by today. Regardless this piece was me attempting to draw, perhaps I'll use this as the guinea pig to test out some painting effects I want to incorporate in the final. Til then I loved this class and Jake's the best teacher in the world and and I think everyone should take a class from him :). Thanks for everything Jake

Here is a rough final for the Japan Tsunami Relief Poster from a few weeks ago. Unfortunately the file I had spent many hours on became corrupt, perhaps from switching back and forth between CS4 and CS5? Anyway as you could imagine I was more then bummed seeing how I had discovered some pretty cool water effects which I couldn't recreate with such little time. I would like to go back and redesign this poster seeing as it has come up quite short of what I had imagined. That's okay, I learned quite a bit so all in all I'd say the piece isn't as disappointing as I first thought.
